I called to place a take out order and they were super helpful in making sure I was ordering gluten free items, and even helped to customize some rolls to make them gluten free! The imitation crab is gluten free but not the rock crab. I really appreciated the patience and knowledge of the staff!

I was so excited to finally have a sushi place to go to that I felt safe at. I'm heartbroken that I had a reaction here, because the food was so good and I truly felt safe and cared for.

They took all the precautions, the servers were knowledgeable and knew exactly which items were gluten free and which weren't, they immediately switched out the soy sauce, and at the end when my mom and I decided to order another roll and gave the order to a different server than we had initially, she was the one to say "gluten free right?," so even the servers that weren't working our table were aware that our table needed to be gluten free.

They did mention at the end that while they do their best to clean the boards and haven't heard of anyone with celiac or other allergies having issues there, that there's always a risk of cross-contamination, which I understood and is the case eating out at most places. Unfortunately I did have a reaction. I'm super sensitive - I react to even some certified gf products and it's hard to find truly safe restaurants for me, though they do exist. If you're like me, I would be wary, but if you can eat out at the majority of gluten free restaurants without issue, you'll likely still be able to eat here no problem. I have no doubts they take it seriously, so I chalk it up to a one off moment of bad luck or my high sensitivity.

I told them I was celiac and they completely took away the other soy sauce and brought one that is gluten free for the table. Our server made sure to let me know when bringing food to the table if it was safe for me or not, even if it wasn’t mine! Which is greatly appreciated, so I knew not to share. I hade the edamame, sake roll and spicy tuna roll! They were all delicious! Will definitely come back!

Take gluten allergies very seriously. I had a terrible experience at another sushi restaurant where I ended up not being able to eat any of my order. Kiko marked my order in 3 different places to say I had an allergy and the food was great.

The staff were very knowledgeable and gave us all the GF options and would confirm each time that what was being delivered to the table was gf and prepared in the gf area.
