Kilauea Fish Market Waipouli

Menu says ask server about Gluten free. She was unsure and asked the cook several questions for me. I ended up getting a pretty plain salad. I was scared to eat the dressing and asked several times to make sure it was made from tamari not soy sauce. I wouldn’t eat here again.

Now known as the Sleeping Giant Grill. I had the fish taco and it was very good. You can BYOB here if you like.

Very good food, ate here twice, although they messed up my order and gave me brown rice instead of white, it was still good. Very sensitive to gluten and I didn't get sick.

Found this place by accident. The menu says GF options?? Just ask...I asked and the girl hummed and paused and repeated GF?? I got very intimidated that they were a turn around and walk out place. But then I explained what I needed to have done and the girl got it....so I ordered the shrimp plate. They offered to cook it in a pan instead of the grill, to avoid cross contamination. The owner brought my food out to me and explained to me how everything was prepared. I did not get sick....I would recommend this establishment!
