Killen's Burgers

So this used to be our go to for burgers and fries. Gluten free bun fries and onion rings in separate fryers ... it was perfect.

We walked in tonight, I saw the menu additions and knew I needed to ask follow up questions. I asked if the french fries were gluten free and with the befuddled looks shot in my direction the reply was quickly "no they are not gluten free" and we sadly left.

One member of staff told me the fries were gluten free, I asked if they were were fried in the same oil as the onion rings and they are, so they are NOT safe for celiacs. Apparently they used to be fried in separate oil but that has changed 😩

Good burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Gluten-Free Bun was a bit dense, but still good.

This place is amazing!! They have gf buns and I order the sweet potato fries. The food is always delicious! The only time they didn’t have gf buns was right after a hurricane.
