We informed them of my gluten free needs when placing the reservation and the waiter was completely caught off guard when I inquired as to what I could have. The first item I ask about he confirmed instantly that it was gluten free then said it “just has a little soy in the marinade, if you can have that” I had to confirm he was talking about soy sauce which is not gluten free. He confirmed the other items I ask about were gluten free and he seamed to be knowledgeable about the rest of the menu. Obviously he was wrong or there was a major amount of cross contamination in the kitchen as something I ate contained gluten, I spent the next several days sick and miserable after eating here.

I’ve enjoyed this place for years, but this was the first time I’ve went since Celiac Disease diagnosis. We went for my best friend’s birthday dinner and they made sure everything was gluten free for me that I ordered. All of the meat and vegetables are seasoned to order, so almost everything can be tweaked for gluten free. When I made the reservation for our large group, I mentioned I needed gluten free. When receiving the call for reminder, then mentioned again to make sure, as it was on the reservation. As well the waiter confirmed when we arrived who see needed gluten free and the chef with kitchen staff was also made aware he said. This all made me feel really comfortable to enjoy the evening of not worrying and know I would not have any CT. Our waiter was so amazing and even washed hands in thanks before shaking my hand for night before leaving. The attention they made to details, including making my mixed drink fresh peaches and not with the already prepared house made peach mix made for the mojitos really had me adding this to a top place to go for that special dinner.
