I was excited to eat here as their menu has many items labeled gluten free. I let the server know I had Celiac disease, had to explain what it meant, and clarified they didn’t use any soy sauce in their food. I even stressed the importance of cross-contamination. The server left me feeling nervous so I asked to speak with the chef (we were the only customers in the restaurant). All staff came to our table and said that soy sauce is in the sauces, they can’t make anything from scratch and that “GF” means it is optional! We said we wanted the GF option and they then said there really isn’t an option! Of course we left at that point: avoid this restaurant!
