We stayed at the hotel nearby when we came for some wine tasting. The food was amazing!! There were several choices for gluten free. I got the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. It was so so good. I would come back to the area just for the food. Additionally, one of the best waiters I have had the pleasure of working with.

Came here based on the other recommendations and it has the potential to be great. However the waitress I had was uneducated. Explained the gluten allergy to her which she blew off, did not document, and my salad came out with bread croutons on it. Luckily the food deliverer had celiacs and was able to bring me a new salad.

As with most places, it depends on the educations of the kitchen and staff. Wouldn’t take this place off your list but be very cautious with uneducated staff.

I’m symptomatic and not feeling great now.

A substantial portion of the menu is GF- including everything fried! They use a special GF cornmeal to fry things so no worries about dedicated fryers. Only thing not GF was the bun and flat bread. We had the calamari which was amazing and the country chicken - sooo good! Definitely worth it!

There were many gluten free options and the wait person was very helpful. He reassured me that precautions would be taken. When our dinners came to the table, he said that they all had been prepared with gluten free precautions. I had a lovely meal and dessert. I felt very safe.

My mom & I dined there last night. We are both Gluten Free. Dinner was most excellent. The french fries were a real treat & they were amazing!! our waiter, Justin, was the best. We had a very positive experience & no I'll effects from Gluten. Can't wait to go back!!

I’ve eaten here twice and had a great experience each time. Many GF menu items to choose from, including fried chicken and fried calamari! Kitchen and servers are familiar with celiac. Many dairy free options as well.

The menu had indications (shown with an asterisk) of menu items that could be made or altered to be GF. I chose the burger and the server thought I could have the bun. When I told her the menu specifically lists a flour bun, she said she'd check. She did and said I was right, I cannot have the bun. So I got a burger on a plate. The food was good and I did feel confident that it was GF but was disappointing to get a burger on a plate with a small grouping of topping next to it. When I had originally called they said they do not have a separate prep area in the kitchen but they try to take precautions. I got the salad instead of fries and had no reaction (sensitive Celiac).

They were great about allergies! I informed them of multiple and they wrote them all down and checked on everything. They said all their fryers were gluten free too!!

I live in gluten free house, so I have the ability to be very strict with my diet. I did not get sick eating here, however, much of the GF items on their menu is simply taking the gluten away like a burger without a bun. As far as I’m concerned that’s not a gluten-free menu you’re simply just removing the gluten items from the plate, not providing a GF alternative.

Outstanding! Eat here. Make a reservation. You will not regret it. One of the best meals we've ever had! GF calamari and chic peas cooked in a dedicated fryer. Amazing fried chicken. Juicy burger and a seared salmon special that was out of this world!

This place is amazing! The ambience, the service, the gluten-free options! Everything we had was delicious and safe. No symptoms and I would know. Separate fryer – fried calamari, fried chicken, rosemary fries, gluten-free coconut chocolate torte. Will travel from Rochester for this place!

You guys...give this one a try! It was fantastic! I got to have fried chicken, French fries AND a beer! What!?!? The waiter asked about any allergies we might have and was very knowledgeable. The menu is clearly marked. What a treat!

Fantastic, inspired cuisine using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. A must-visit for all gluten free foodies! Most of the menu is gluten free and is clearly marked; staff is extremely knowledgeable. From southern fried chicken to mac and cheese, fried calamari to french fries and fried fish (when available), the chef uses almond flour, coconut flour and other gf approaches for breadings, crunchy toppings, thickeners in sauces, crusts for desserts, etc. Dedicated fryer. No gf buns or bread for burgers or sandwiches but thet can be made without or with lettuce wraps. Upscale rustic chic atmosphere without the pretentious attitude. Fantastic, friendly service. Plenty of jeans, sneakers and shorts. May be a bit pricey for some with entrees ranging from high teens to thirties. But worth every bite. Something for everyone who enjoys an innovative menu.

This place is AMAZING! So aware! Most of the menu can be made safely. My son got to have such delicious treats he’s missed for so long! Server very aware. We were all able to share our dishes because the kitchen was made aware and avoided cross contamination / cross contact for all our dishes. Aside from gf / celiac friendly, one of the best restaurants we’ve diner at!

I got to eat so many things that I never thought I could again in a restaurant (fried chicken, fried calamari, real French fries!). The staff was extremely knowledgeable. It was insane to think that I could order almost anything off the menu. I will definitely be back!

If you live around or are planning to visit near Geneva NY, you have to have dinner at Kindred Fare! When you look at the menu, everything with an * is or can be done GF, this will include appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. There are so many options, we chose to share several things, including fried calamari, poutine, fried chicken, mac & cheese and several dessert options. The meal was incredible, the service was amazing, the restaurant is gorgeous, all coming together for an overall outstanding experience!
