Wow! Delicious sliced brisket potato salad and colllard greens. All bbq meats are gf as well as the sauces. Stay away from Texas bread/pickle bar which is self serve.

Great bbq. They had gf chicken tenders that were amazing. Went last week and they said they were bringing them back soon. Keeping fingers crossed. Lots of gf options though.

My wife is diagnosed with Celiacs, so we have really limited our dining out. A night on the Avalon led to an amazing meal at King BBQ. Upon walking in, we were greeted by great staff and a dessert cooler with gluten free options. The chef and staff pride themselves on providing to the Gluten Free community as Bantam & Buddy did before. The gloves ere changed, all bread was Udi’s gluten free, and the menu had everything clearly labeled. The staff knew all the key things that could get my wife sick (cross contamination, bread being on the plate, etc) and listed how they would kee her as safe as they could. The food was phenomenal. All meats at King are gluten free, as are the rubs and sauces. This let us enjoy a true BBQ meal with no limits for the first time in years. The pimiento cheese even came with delicious gluten free crackers! There is no fryer, so no worries about the shred fryer. We recommend the pulled pork with jalapeño corn bread and the GLUTEN FREE Brunswick stew, something I have never seen before.Noah was a fantastic server, and both the manager and the chef came out to check on my wife and assure her that the meal was safe. I could not recommend King more. Thanks for making my wife feel safe and full!
