They have a GF menu that is fairly extensive (pretty much if you think it should be GF, it is), but no dedicated fryers. The server was knowledgeable about it fried foods not being okay. I had the Chilean Sea bass with mashed potatoes and heirloom carrots. It was safe and tasty, but nothing to write home about. Portions were good, but I expected better quality for the price. My gluten eating companions agreed that it was "just okay." For out of towners, the area it is in leaves something to be desired. When leaving we were going to head into 7-11 across the street, but watched 2 dudes with baseball bats head in first. When returning to our car in the parking garage, we passed a chick squatting in a parking space doing meth. Wouldn't have believed those 2 things in such close proximity if I hadn't seen it first hand.
TL;DR food was safe, but not amazing. We won't be back.
Great experience for me and toddler (both celiac). Ordered the classic wedge (salad) and the cheeseburger which was delicious however no GF buns (lettuce) and no dedicated fryer. Very accommodating and aware. Also made a side of cooked carrots and fruit cup for toddler.
I called ahead to make sure there were options that my wife could eat. They assured me they had a menu listing off the gf items. Although they don’t have any gf bread, we appreciated the gf menu that reflected they in fact knew what gluten meant. Still plenty of options behind the list of salads, ranging from 3 appetizers, a nice selection of salads, meat and seafood dishes and some desserts. The decor was classy, service was pleasant and the food was delicious and timely. We will definitely go back to try other things.
Seated right away, but spent 30 minutes waiting for our server to appear. After one finally appeared, they informed me that basically the only safe entrees on the GF menu are the grilled fish and sides, everything else will have cross contamination.
On previous visits I was able to get the grilled fish tacos and substitute chips for zucchini, but substituting chips wasn’t an option and also the tacos are apparently unsafe now also.
I didn’t get sick, but the food was pretty bland and definitely not worth the price.
Could be a safe option if you need somewhere to go with friends and family, but don’t go out of your way to visit here.
Just be sure to get your waiter to confirm everything you order is safe with the chef, since the gluten free menu can’t be trusted.
Making a note that they have a separate GF menu that includes a limited number of appetizers, salads, one burger (no GF bun), fish tacos, and several grilled fish and meat entrees. I had the Louie salad with shrimp - it was huge and fresh, but overall nothing to write home about. Pricing is expensive, especially for lunch (it’s the same menu all day)
They had a gluten free menu. Waiter was not knowledgeable and did not take allergy seriously. In severe pain and having severe symptoms very next morning. Do NOT eat here if symptomatic to cross contamination. They did not do anything to keep separate from the other dishes
