Kinopio's Cafe had a special dedicated low allergy menu of rice and curry or rice and meatballs. An allergy specialist went through the menu with us and we had the meatballs. It was delivered on disposable plates and separate disposable cutlery was provided as well. They couldn't have done more to make sure everything was separate. There was also a grape jelly for dessert. Overall the options were very limited, and not the finest food - but it was better than nothing, and the staff were very accomodating. Universal studios also say if you need a special diet you can take your own food into the park (which usually isn't allowed). We were fine to enter the park with some onigiri, boiled eggs and jelly from 7-11 and actually weren't questioned about this when they did a bag check.
