Symptomatic Celiac

One star Michelin dining at its finest in DC. Very safe for gluten free, celiac specifically. At this caliber I also expect it. Great place for gluten free allergy. I was told “order anything from the menu and our kitchen will modify it for you, don’t worry, explore”, what a treat!

The restaurant is cozy while being modern and warm. The service is attentive and informed. Excellent wine list.

I indulged in the salmon starter, honestly the chive sauce was out of this world. I decided on two mains instead of a main and dessert, the halibut was outstanding and finally I got the sweetbreads which were modified GF. Very rich but also delicious! The dessert was the pear with mousse and ice cream accompaniment, absolutely delicious.

Excellent price too for the quality of the food, service, Michelin dining and location. Will return.

This restaurant is incredible and totally safe for celiacs. They are extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and were exceptionally careful with preparing my food. I ate here three times and was fine each time. They also went out of their way to point out options -- volunteering that they'd be happy to fry the soft shell crab in its own fresh oil, for instance. They also said they could make the lobster french toast with gluten free bread and, lo and behold, it was delicious. Kinship is a wonderful celiac-friendly fine dining option in DC.
