I love Kirari West! The little custard puffs are favorites of my kids and I. So yummy! I bring them to family gatherings along with a Cookie plate and pie or cake. My entire family will eat everything and love the stuff I bring. My favorite breakfast is the Avocado Toast. I highly recommend it! Everyone I have taken there loves it. It’s a blessing to the neighborhood, honestly. Everything is marked with possible allergens. I am allergic to Corn and Soy so I am a difficult patron but I always find something good 😃. I have to also say how kind and thoughtful they are. During Covid, they sent us gf bread and, because it was April, they sent us bunny cookies as well. For free! It was such a nice and unexpected surprise and so appreciated. Love Kirari West! ( I do wish there were more corn and soy free options because corn and soy are in most foods here in the US and they can be difficult to avoid). Just a thought!💕
Amazing food and variety. Came for breakfast and had what was essentially an egg and cheese calzone - it was fantastic. As was the almond brioche pastry. I took a slice of the carmelized onion and tomato focaccia to go and had it the next day - also great. Wish I could have tried all the desserts - they looked incredible. This place is a gem.
During our visit to the Los Angeles area, we had the great pleasure of eating at Kirari multiple times. Unbelievably delicious food! Precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are evident in all their scrumptious creations. Thank you for a wonderful safe cafe experience!
This is a dedicated gluten-free facility, so you don't have to worry about cross-contamination. This restaurant is always a stop for me when I'm traveling to the South Bay area of LA. The breakfast sandwiches, almond brioche, and brioche au chocolat are my favorites. I am always greeted with a smile by the staff, and the service is quite speedy.
This place is absolutely phenomenal! Gluten-free sandwiches, pastries, cake and tart slices, coffee, and more - I wanted to try everything! My gluten-eating fiancé said everything was just as good as something with gluten (if not better). We're obsessed. Cannot wait to come back next time we're in LA!
Been coming here for years, and I’ve absolutely love it each time! All of their items are great, the staff is knowledgeable too. If you have an oat sensitivity let them know, not many items have it to begin with but some do. Most items have dairy/eggs so be sure to ask if you’re unsure!
Overall SO tasty! Atmosphere was really nice, everything is GF so it felt like heaven as a celiac. I’m usually very nervous ordering from new “gluten free” places but I felt very safe ordering whatever I wanted. Clean place, DELICIOUS food! I orded the caprese sandwich and the strawberry shortcake. That sandwich was so good. The bread was surprisingly so soft and almost tasted like real bread to me. The cake was really tasty as well. I definitely recommend to any celiacs or vegans coming into socal. Also pretty close to the beach if you are looking for that.
Oh. My. God. I would consider moving to CA for this place. Please come to Phoenix. I’ll manage it.
So across the street from Kirari confections, in the same parking lot, is @kirariwest bake shop which is a cafe, also 100% dedicated gluten free. Here they sell breads, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, pasties, salads and a variety of cakes.
This location was much busier than the bake shop. I ordered the chocolate mousse sponge cake, a white chocolate strawberry shortcake, a blueberry muffin and the brioche au chocolate for there.
The cakes were really tasty! They were made with quality ingredients and I could see why the place was packed! I liked my brioche very much as it reminded me somewhat of a pain au chocolat, just heavier bread. But still very good.
Wow!! I’m always looking for new places that are safe for my son, and this place is awesome! There are actually two GF bakeries/cafes in the same strip mall, both run by the same owner- Kirari West Bake Shop and Confections by Kirari West. Both had great staff who are very accommodating and knowledgeable. I had a waffle topped with an egg, ham and Gruyère cheese- delicious. The waffle was very fluffy and you wouldn’t even know it’s GF. I bought a few more bakery items to bring home to my son on the east coast, and was informed that they will ship some of their items via their website (kirariwest.com and confectionskw.com) Will definitely be stopping by here anytime I’m in town.
My absolute favorite place to go and especially without worrying about what to order. I just recently got a friend into here and she loves it so now I get to go more often. Staff are always so great too especially Lisa who has been there since forever. I first met Hiro at the gluten free expo in Pasadena years ago. Loved his stall and loved that Kirari West was so close to my home. Honestly there’s nothing I’ve ordered that I don’t like. I don’t like olives but I will totally eat them on the bread they have there. Love Kirari West!
I come here every time I have a layover in LA! The muffins are the best thing ever! They don’t have a gross after taste, and taste like normal muffins. The sandwiches are also yummy. I’ve had the breakfast chipotle one, and also the seasonal pastrami sandwich. The cinnamon roll was very ok, and I’ve had better.
We stopped here before I headed to the airport to catch my return flight home and I had the Turkey Pesto Panini. It was so delicious, plus it was the first panini I've had since my celiac diagnosis in 2012! The bun stayed intact and all the flavors were phenomenal. Dedicated gluten free deliciousness for the win!!
I wish I'd discovered them at the beginning of my vacation, not the end. Everything looked awesome. I can't wait to go back!
Since I was diagnosed with celiac, I have been unable to find many bakeries that are even close to outstanding. This place blew me away! Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The two of us ordered the turkey egg melt, the carbonara, and blueberry muffin. Both were delicious and filling! wished we lived closer, I would be a regular!
