The owner has family with celiac disease and has designed the kitchen so Celiac's can eat safe. The staff is also very knowledgeable and great at listening. The crispy oyster mushrooms are amazing, as is everything else on the menu.

The owners son has celiac so you can get *almost* everything gluten free. The menu doesn’t have things labeled so just ask the servers (who are very knowledgeable). They have gluten free chicken and waffles which is a miracle in itself (they don’t offer a gluten version and the non-GF patrons are none the wiser). The food is AMAZING and the staff is so friendly. The drinks are delicious (coffee and mixed drinks) and my favorite place in town to eat.

We were traveling through Montpellier and saw the review about Kismet and decided to try it for dinner. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and caring. They take gluten free and all allergies very seriously. Everything is made to order and customized to meet the dietary needs of the customer. The food was amazing! I can't have gluten, dairy or sesame and was able to have a 3 course meal, even dessert! I would highly recommend Kismet!

Kismet is one of the best restaurants ever, gluten free or not! Owners son has celiac and they are very aware of cross contamination issues. Dedicated gf fryer even! I never feel like I'm missing out when I go there because I can eat just about everything. I've been going for years and never gotten sick. FYI, their brunch is what they're best known for!
