Come on everyone... support this place. Wonderful GF food. I had waffle with ham and cheese scramble - yum! Great menu and friendly owner. I would love to see this small restaurant/coffee shop thrive.

Delicious grilled sandwiches (best anywhere!) and great sweet or savory waffles, coffee drinks and ice creams. Great people and worth the wait. All in a dedicated GF facility.

Amazing! Doesn't look like much from the outside, and a little out of the way, but the donuts and waffles are amazing, and the owners are very nice. Gluten free everything, and lots of vegan choices. Even though it's out of the way, I'll be back

Super slow service, took over an hour to get two waffles and 2 coffes. One order was wrong and one waffle was over cooked to the point of almost burnt. Two stars are for the friendly service.

Had to kill some time before work and am so glad I finally checked this place out. The owner is adorable, the food is super yummy (I had the ham & cheese waffle and got a donut for later) and it's just where I want to be in a gray Tuesday afternoon. Super down to earth and cozy spot.

gluten free deep fried donuts!? It's been so long since I've had a real donut and it was incredible... but also expensive at $3 each.

I am from Dallas but go to this place every time I visit my sister. I have been here 3 times. Her gluten free mix is amazing, light crunchy and not grainy at all. I have had multiple waffles, the peppered turkey sandwich, and her homemade donuts. All were delicious!! I also tried the banana, chocolate, hazelnut, almond smoothie that was great and shared with two young kids! I highly recommend this place if you are gluten/wheat sensitive as it is a dedicated place. She also has delectable coffee!

I just tried this place for the first time today. The chocolate, banana, almond, and hazelnut smoothie is to die for! We also had the peppered turkey sandwich and the banana honey nut waffle. Incredibly and amazingly good! I wish I lived closer so I could eat here again soon!

very delightful breakfast...veggie/protein scrambles on top of a GF waffle! very small "husband-wife" place. if in a hurry will be tough to accommodate but very sweet couple & very much enjoyed the food. would visit again if in the area

We had such a great lunch here today! The couple is incredible friendly and hospitable and the food was EXCELLENT! We had the pepper turkey sandwiches and they even scrambled up one egg and spinach for my 1 year old! We will definitely come back!

What a find! Best gluten free banana waffle I have ever had. All natural ingredients. Veggie scramble eggs with lots of fresh vegetables. Homemade ice cream. Will definitely return.

Waffles, omelettes, sandwiches and coffees. Friendly service! We'll come back to try the ice cream.

This is a very celiac friendly place to eat. There is a great variety of absolutely delicious food. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. You can clearly see that they like what they are doing, cheerful atmosphere. We would definitively come back again.

Small family business and the only dedicated GF restaurant in the area as of now. The owners are very kind and the menu is great. The sandwiches are amazing as are the waffles.

The food is just as delicious and the service is just as friendly as it was when Kiwan Cafe Rio was located on Burnside...except the parking options are much better! Owned by an utterly delightful couple who still remembers me a few years later. The waffles are soooo good!

Kiwan Cafe Rio is a dedicated cafe...the sweet and savory waffle selections pleased everyone. Delucious smoothies with out of the ordinary choices: mint, chocolate, almond, coconut, cherry, etc. They make their own ice cream too! Grilled vegie sandwich was awesome. Three of us left very ful-filled for under $35.00. We will be regulars!

This is by far the best gluten free restaurant I have ever been to. Had a sandwich that was the best sandwich I ever had, gluten free or not. Highly recommended. Owners are amazing!!!

fabulous food all around. everything is celiac friendly. My husband is a wheat eater and he loved it too. There sandwich was more like an open faced wondrous delight. literally fresh juice too.

wow! off the beaten path, limited menu but fabulous & worth the trip. my husband is not celiac & dislikes my bread, however, "mmm this is super good" was his comment. i wish they were closer to home so I could provide my monetary support more frequently. I'll be back!
