I have eaten here a couple of times. I do not do the Teppan Grill. If my family wants to do the Teppan Grill I order off the menu and tell them I have Celiac and ask them to use a clean surface that has not been contaminated with any gluten. On the check it does say a gluten allergy. So you know that at least they're aware of it. However you do need to be careful with the grilled veggies on the plate. Everything else I was safe but I suspected that they had grilled the veggies in soy sauce. As long as you keep it simple like a steak and rice or sushi, you should be fine. They also do fried rice gluten free. But do not do it on the Teppan Grill. Have them do it in the kitchen on a separate surface like a pan.
Yes
Super sick about 30 minutes after leaving. They tried really hard but I saw the cook dip into butter that was contaminated and ate it anyway which is on me. The cook was oblivious to gf but I wanted to eat with my family. If you are celiac, don't chance it.
