I was really excited to try Koi after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, got sick within 3 hours of eating.

I LOVE this restaurant, I’ve been going for years and the food is always delicious whether you’re dining in or carrying out. I have celiac disease and have never had an issue eating here. The staff is knowledgeable and has always been accommodating.

Delicious food, all items are labeled GF when we order carryout, and my boyfriend who is not gluten free really enjoys it as well! Very happy with Koi and very happy we found this gem!

Koi have been very accomodating for me. I have eaten there at least 4 times since getting diagnosed with celiac disease and I have never got glutened. I've eaten at their restaurant and had taken out a couple of times.

When I have called ahead while making a reservation, they have explained their safety procedures in detail and really seem to know what they are talking about. My favorite dish is Mongolian Beef. Additionally, their servers always seem to take my requirements very seriously.

We eat here often and have always had good experiences. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. There menu has many gluten free options and I would highly recommended it if you are near by.

Celiac friendly?

Got glutened here before, but came back with friends and had better experiences since. The food is pretty good and there is good variety, just make sure you clearly stress your gluten allergy/intolerance.

Koi is delicious!!! My gluten free friend and I absolutely love it! Their menu boasts diverse and scrumptious options. They can make any breaded meat with cornstarch so all that crispy orange chicken you have been missing in your life is there! The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Definitely worth a trip... Or 5...

Exceptional gf dining. Their food is the best Chinese in Evanston, and they are completely reliable in gf preparation. I eat Koi once a week, usually delivered. Their wild salmon w/ bean sauce is wonderful. W/ a minimum order, you get free fried rice.

Tell them you need gf, and then just enjoy your meal without worries. If they can't do a dish gf, they'll tell you.

One complaint - the take-out and Grub Hub menus don't list all the gf options, so I asked to bring a dining room menu home. There are lots of great gf options.

Didn't feel left out with my special health need. The waitress immediately made sure I had Gluten free soy sauce. There was more choice than I hoped for in the menu and everything I could eat was notes GF. Even had a dessert that was Gluten Free. Very friendly.
