Great sushi restaurant. They confirmed they make their rice with rice vinegar (not malt) and have gluten free soy sauce upon request. They seemed decently knowledgeable; pointing out that the crab (imitation) would not be safe, and of course the rolls with fried items and the sauces.

I ate here once before and it was really great.
This time it seemed like none of the wait staff agreed on what I could eat.
I could have plain fish and edamame.. seemed to be what they could agree was safe.
Frustrating as the last time I was here they made some rolls like everyone else can have.
One waitress said I have to have the steamed rice, the other said I could have things ordered off the menu with sushi rice..

Spoke to the server about gluten free and she explained which items to avoid like fried and ponzu. They also have GF soy sauce. It was the best sushi I've had the last 2 years down here in TX and the fried rice made with GF soy sauce was also great.
