Ate here a couple of days ago while passing through Des Moines. The entire staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. To the point where they bagged my wife and my to go orders separately, separating the napkins into the gluten free order! 🤯
I definitely recommend this as a celiac friendly (for us) restaurant!

Great bbq place to get a gluten free meal that is top notch! They fully understand how to keep us safe and which sides are gluten free. I always remind them to leave the bread off. My favorite items are the burnt ends and their baked beans but our family likes everything they cook! Edit: they just added gluten free wings with a Parmesan dipping sauce which is also gluten free. Super good!
Man oh man, gluten free options and care in the kitchen to not cross contaminate? Yes and yes. We will visit every trip through Des Moines. Burnt ends, killer sauces, fantastic corn, potato smash thing without the topping (gluten - pointed out to me by the staff) followed by bliss. Do yourself a favor and come here often.
Amazing food, awesome staff, soooo many options for GF!!! Just let them know you’re gluten free and there as many options, including a GF brownie! We will be visiting again while we are in town, wish there was one near us in Indiana.

All the meat, sauces, and most sides are gf. Sides change seasonally. Staff knowledgeable and able to answer questions. I’ve eaten here many times without issues.
All of their meats & sauces are gluten free. Soups, nachos & most of the sides are also gluten free. Staff was very knowledge & aware of cross contamination. My new favorite place to eat!
