This was such an interesting dining experience! We waited for our table, found our table, ordered, and paid without interacting with another human. It was like a DMV for sushi.
We were able to find allergy information on the restaurant website. There was a chart listing all of the allergens for each menu item, including if there was a risk of cross contamination. It was pretty hard to keep track because there were a LOT of items. We ended up making a list and then ordering from there!
Most of the plain nigiri is wheat free, as are the miso soups. All of the plain rolls are wheat free but were processed in environments with wheat. I really liked the abalone nigiri.
Unfortunately, this location didn’t have gluten free soy sauce. Fortunately, we were carrying some!
I’d say that the safety was a bit dubious, as there was no way to double check the website information was accurate and up to date. I think the risk is pretty low for plain nigiri which is just rice and fish. The food arrives on covered containers. I still felt a bit anxious about the whole experience, as there was absolutely nothing indicating it would be safe (just blind trust!) It was fun though! I’m feeling alright right now.
Thanks to Adels review I was able to enjoy sushi without a huge price tag! Gf soy sauce was available on the table, and I enjoyed the cucumber rolls and pickled radish as per the recommendation. There were probably more gf options i just did not ask! It’s also a great fun restaurant, with lots of games to entertain you whilst eating!
