The ONLY reason I gave it four and not five stars is because it's ridiculously expensive, but very delicious. I guess it's the location, being in an upscale area, but as someone who has to eat gf I sure wish I didn't have to pay premium prices every time I ate out or bought gf from the market. Their bread is the best I've had. So amazing!
Wowww, the cinnamon rolls. Everything though, really.
Delicious!!!! So many choices when every item on the menu is safe!!! Nitrate free meats, heavenly cinnamon rolls & sticky buns and an adoptable outside (enclosed) dining area! I'm in love and WILL be back next time I visit LO! 💕
Wow!!! Gf df pretzel dogs with nitrate free beef, muffins, Mac and cheese. df options. Love love love!!!
Great food and baked goods
The cupcakes are as good as they come. All the foods are labeled with the potential allergens they contain, so it's easy to find something that meets a variety of dietary restrictions (dairy free, vegan, etc).
OH MY! the cinnamon roll was sooooo yummy! what a total treat....first wonderful cinnamon roll since I went GF 11+ years ago.
Amazing chicken ranch sandwich and German chocolate cup cakes! Fantastic!
Excellent food and friendly and knowledgable staff. Cinnamon Rolls are to die for, cupcakes are excellent, cookies too. I ordered a tuna melt, on home baked bread. So nice to be able to order anything off the menu and KNOW its 100% gluten free!
So thankful to have a dedicated gluten free facility. Super conscientious staff and thankful they have prevented people from bringing outside food. Not easy to do but so important for safety for celiacs so thank you!!
Love Kyra's! Everything is GF and clearly labeled if DF or vegan. Staff is knowledgable and very helpful. Haven't tried the cafe menu yet but the cookies, dinner rolls and cupcakes are delicious. My recently diagnosed GF/DF son says the cupcakes are better than those with gluten!
5+ stars! Finally a totally GF place that is worth the hype. Everything I had was delicious. Breakfast sandwich (I thought the sandwich bread was only OK - moist but had a GF aftertaste), cinnamon roll (Oh how I could go on & on about the roll), and all 4 cupcakes were delicious. I want to stay in Lake Oswego just so I can go to Kyra's every day!
Made it a priority to go to Lake Oswego just to visit Kyra's while in Portland. So glad I did! The cinnamon roll was amazing (super sweet but great to share)! Had a breakfast sandwich and took more items to go! Yummy!
Lives up to the hype. Easily the best gluten free bakery in the country.
AMAZING!!! Red velvet cupcakes are ridiculous. Best gf cupcakes I've ever had!!
Can you say biscuts and gravy? Pasteries, cakes, I thought I died and went to heaven.
Yummy treats. Beautiful looking cakes/cookies and cupcakes! Staff isn't always the friendliest but the sweets are good.
Love this place and all the options to please even those who are not gluten free. Especially appreciate the Paleo choices. Such a treat to have really great food and baked goods without fear of cross contamination.
Holy gluten free Batman!!!!! I almost cried it was so good. Even considering the ever expanding GF options out there, Kyra's is the best I have had. Keep it up ladies. You are doing great things.
100% gluten free. Best feeling in the world to walk in and be able to order anything while being confident you won't get sick! Nothing I've eaten there has disappointed me, simply delicious!!!
100% gluten free facility. I ordered the curry chicken salad, BLAT, and lemon lavender cupcake. They give generous portions here. The salad was flavorful. I found the bread for the BLAT a little dense. The cupcakes really shine here. The cake was moist and the frosting had the right amount of lightness and sweetness.
Love love love this place. Such a variety of food and beverage. And as a celiac, knowing I can have whatever is on the menu. I brought my non-GF friends and they enjoyed it as well. Need one of these in Boston!!!
Fabulous food! We ate here 3 days in a row so my husband could eat a "normal" meal. Wish we had Kyra's in the Midwest!
I'm from Arizona and each time I come up to the PNW I always make sure to stop!! Love the new location and services. The lemon pound cake is amazing! So was the dairy free blueberry muffin was my favorite! Can't wait to come back again :)
Wonderful cupcakes and ziti.
It is great!!!
Cute little place in Lake Oswego. However, my BLTA sandwich was so greasy I couldn't eat it. My mom's turkey sandwich was the same way. I'm not sure if this is the norm or if someone new was a little too liberal with the oil at the grill. The paleo cookie I had was delicious however and the lavender latte was a little taste of heaven. I'll stop by if I'm in the neighborhood again, but I'll skip lunch and go straight for the dessert!
Delicious sandwiches and treats. Cute shop with wi-fi. Had a tiny work-meet here and blissfully ate quite a bit!
Sandwiches, treats, all delicious.
Although Kyra's is located slightly outside the downtown area, the trip will certainly be worth it! Formerly known as Crave Bake Shop, this glutenfree bakery appeared three ti mes on Food Network's "Cupcake Wars" and successfully won each ti me! As the menu changes daily, you'll always be able to try some new fl avor combinati on or sweet treat.
breakfast and lunch all gluten free! and it is amazing. I just ate a cinnamon role that I would have thought came from Cinnebon, but I know it won't make me sick.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went today after a Girl Scout event and I was happy as always. I am licking the wrapper of a cupcake right now ( they are that good!!!). With the new bakery they have more baked goods. Their coffee is pretty good too. The people at the front are very nice and willing to help. Again, I must say AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Visited on a trip for my daughter's wedding. Wasn't terribly impressed.
Amazing. My non gluten free friends said that V the cupcakes were the best they've ever had!! I also tried the cinnamon roll, so awesome!!! Definitely recommend to EVERYONE.
Amazing gluten free desserts its hard to choose which one you want BC there are so many choices and they're all delicious!!!
Kyra's Bake Shop (formerly Crave Bake Shop) is Portland's hidden gem. We had the GF cinnamon roll (warmed) and it was hands down the best cinnamon role we've ever had. It was full of great cinnamon and sugar and topped with a wonderful icing that runs down the roll when heated. At the bottom of the roll is a wonderful oooey, gooey goodness that begs for you to lick the wrapper clean. Kyra really has found her calling making truly amazing GF treats!!!
Heavenly. Rotating selection. First stop every time we get home to PDX and we usually have one of everything.
Pricey, but delicious!!!
I bought my birthday cupcakes at Crave. Even my gluten loving family was practically locking the plate clean! Two thumbs up.
Best quality GF baked good in the Portland area. We have been going since they first opened and love the quality and variety. Very safe and tasty.
Cake Bites, cream puffs, donut Fridays, pink frosted cookies, & award winning cupcakes! Need I say more?
Incredible baking. Wows GF and gluten eaters alike. Very friendly and knowledgeable
I have been a huge fan of Crave since the day I discovered them last year. Everything is delicious, moist (a rare thing for GF), and the texture is unbeatable. We even hired them to make our 3 tier wedding cake. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, it was so delicious that many of our non-gf guests asked for the name of the bakery, having no idea that it was completely gluten free. Highly recommend their cocoa velvet and chocolate strawberry flavors.
The bakery is not clean. The cup cakes I bought were dry and not very flavorful. Very disappointed
There no way that this place doesn't deserve a full 5 stars. This is the most amazing gluten-free bakery I've had a chance to visit. I'm so glad this isn't in my city, or else I'd be 500 lbs. already! Yes, the treats are very rich, but daaaaaaang they are so good! Everything I had was magnificent. You can tell that these people know how to bake gluten-free. The bars and scones that I had were some of the best ever and the donuts were spectacular. The cupcakes were awesome - but I think I actually liked the other baked goods better! And it's set in the picturesque town of Lake Oswego, a real treat. I love this place and can't wait to go back! http://celiacandthebeast.com/2012/06/gluten-free-travel-portlandia-part-2-crave-bake-shop/
A lot of their items are made up for being GF with way too much butter and sugar. The only thing that I love are the scones which are really good. They have a nice staff but it just is not worth it for just scones.
No chance of contamination! Not to mention best cupcake I've ever had (ding dong)! Gluten cupcakes included.
Nom nom nom! Best pastries by far that I've had since going gluten free. I have one kid who is GF as well as one who isn't, and they both love the offerings here. Special bonus in that they also have some GF + dairy free options so it's I've stop dessert shopping for our 1/2 GF 1/2 dairy free household! Yay!
Great cupcakes. Best I have eaten. Can't believe they are GF. They are the Gold standard in Portland
