You totally need to check out La Arepa. Their arepas (corn cakes) are gf and prepared in a separate area than anything containing flour. They also have a separate fryer so the plantains are safe as well. Items aren’t marked GF but ask for Bernardo (the owners son) as he is super knowledgeable!! I used to frequent here pre-celiac and love that i can still eat my favorite grilled chicken arepa.

No GF menu, but many delicious GF options and servers are knowledgeable about cross-contact. Separate fryer for platanos. Sadly, the sweet corn cakes are off limits.

Almost everything here is gluten free, including their delicious arepas! The super friendly staff is knowledgeable about gluten & cross-contamination, sharing that plantains are fried separately from other wheat-containing menu items.
