Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, they had a mix up and informed me half way through my meal that one of the items I was eating was not gluten free. I did everything from asking to speak with chef, front hostess, and waitress. While I appreciate the fact that staff is knowledgeable and can accommodate, there are some serious gaps in ensuring the food is safe for people with allergies. It sounds like maybe my situation was an exception, judging by previous comments, but I wanted to make sure I warned others to be on alert.

Don’t come 5 min before they close. they are rude even asking for a to go order

While they didn’t have a separate gluten free menu the server was very knowledgeable and told me what I could eat. Their nachos are made with safe plantains and their mini tacos were delicious!

Fabulous place to dine. My son is celiac and has quick reactions to anything cross contaminated. While they did not have a gf menu, server was very knowledgeable on celiac and was quick to let me know what was safe on menu as well as options that could be modified to meet our needs. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Cuban food. Staff was very accommodating and understood cross contamination. We had shrimp, rice, beans, steak, plantain chips and salad. Highly recommend this restaurant
