They were knowledgeable about celiac disease. I could not get the chips since they shared a deep fryer, but the shrimp tacos were delicious! I did not get sick at all. I would love to go back.

This is a super special place! It’s so fun, and everything gluten free is marked. Beyond that, I asked if they could alter something to be gluten free and the waiter was happy to do it. Extremely reasonable prices, especially if you’re staying at a resort.

I truly enjoyed this place, many choices on the menu and when I told the waiter I had a gluten “allergy” he made notes right away. I am highly sensitive and react at the slightest cross contamination . I had zero reaction. I at the veggie quesadilla. It was good. The stuffed avocado looked amazing. I will try that next

This was by far one of my favorite experiences in the area! They were very careful with my food, the waiter was incredibly knowledgeable. The chef cleaned all the equipment before hand. They warned me it would take extra time for the food because of cleaning procedures, this did not bother me at all because it made me feel incredibly safe here! No reaction! Highly recommend, if we were staying closer I would have eaten here every day! No reaction afterwards and the best ceviche I have found!

I don't have celiac, but I do have a gluten allergy and am pretty sensitive. I have eaten at La Buena Vida multiple times and not had an adverse reaction. I was worried it would be quite difficult to know what I could eat but at LBV, it is clearly marked on the menu. I really appreciated that! I will write another review at the end if the trip to say what I ate. :)
