We are here last night and after speaking to 4 different people, we realized that none of them actually understood what “gluten free” meant. My daughter had to go somewhere else to eat.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Only thing gluten free is the chips. Everything else is mixed when it is prepared. I felt like I insulted them when I asked for gluten free.
No
Whenever I go in I order the mixed talavera, eat the cheese dip, guacamole, salsa, and chips and have never had an issue. I always inform them that I have a severe gluten allergy before they put the meal.
Although LaCaretta does not have GF menu, IF you stay away from floured burritos etc, it is a great place for GF. Nacho chips & salsa are also GF. I'm Celiac and have ever had a reaction.
Yes
