Review of La Chata Mexican Cuisine.

Seems like a mom/popish type restaurant that’s really struggling. Not sure if covid has caused supply issues or what but the chips and “queso” tasted like the microwave nachos I’d make in my dorm room in college. Entree of golden quesadilla de Cameron was decent but way too much cheese. We were literally the only people there and I would say the wait was longer than average for a medium busy place. Husbands burrito (not gf) was cold and the meat in his burrito and the kids tacos tasted like weird goulash meat...almost had a chef boyardee taste to it. While my entree was decent and the corn masa seemed fresh we won’t go back. I think covid has unfortunately affected this hugely. Chips weren’t fresh and tasted like a Walmart off brand and weren’t fried or even warmed. Bummed. Had high hopes for this place. Will stick to our other spot off olive for now.
