We walked to this restaurant and arrived at about 6:15, which was just before the rush. A small place, but obviously in demand. The gentleman was knowledgeable about GF. The snails were really good, chicken and pork with French fries and green beans were wonderful and the chocolate dessert was the topper! Wine was great! I highly recommend!
Delicious fixed price meal - very reasonable at 24 Euro. Beef bourguignon, wine roasted chicken, onion soup, chocolate mousse, and crème caramel - all gluten free!
I went there after reading another review, got the French onion soup without bread, beef stew & a desert all gluten free, 19.50 euros
Waiters happy to discuss GF options. French Onion soup and Creme Brûlée were yummy, Beef Bourguignon was okay, red wine *chef’s kiss*. Enjoyable relaxed atmosphere.
We had a great experience! Amazing food, local feel and the service was great. They even had a restaurant cat that came to greet us! The staff knew ingredients for every dish and was helpful when choosing a dish. My husband had the steak which was under done for his liking-maybe a French thing- but the beef short ribs were to die for.
Amazing food and service! Very knowledgeable about Gluten Free. A must. An authentic visit while in Paris!
We tried this place in July 2024 and loved it! The owner and his son were very accommodating to our daughter with celiac. She really wanted French onion soup so they made it GF for her. Almost anything else on the menu could be made gluten free except for a few of the dishes that were marinated in sauces in advance. Everything we had to eat was excellent- my daughter even got to eat the French fries. The owners son understood gluten free and the concerns around cross contamination and we felt very safe eating there. We will definitely go back next time we are in Paris.
I had the vegetable soup, the beef bourguignon and the crème brûlée and was totally fine! Food tasted very homemade and delicious. It’s a small family run French restaurant on a side cobble stone street. Gluten free items aren’t marked on the menu but the waiter will tell you to look at the menu and he’ll tell you which of your favorite options you can have. They know they’re building a good reputation on this app (I mentioned it) and they were nice about it. I saw another reviewer mention the chocolate mouse but we were told in August 2024 that it wasn’t GF so really be careful and reconfirm before you order the mousse.
Staff super friendly and helpful- very understanding. Food was delicious. Had mussels, short ribs, and creme brulée. All in party (GF and not) enjoyed.
Celiac here! This place was absolutely wonderful!! I loved all the food and would love to go back someday!! The staff was super knowledgeable, when I told them I was celiac they didn’t miss a beat and immediately started walking down the daily menu to tell me what options were gluten free. I had the seasonal vegetable soup, the vegetable risotto, and the crème brûlée. Could not recommend this place more!!
Had a phenomenal time here! Cute little whole in the wall spot. Even with a busy lunch crowd, the staff was super helpful.
The lunch deal was great! An appetizer, entree, and dessert for about 20 euros. I got the onion soup (with no bread), the duck confit, and the crème brûlée! Even got a visit from the restaurant cat!
Nice experience. Very fair prices for the three course menu. I asked for an allergen menu and the response was “just tell me what you want and I’ll let you know if it’s okay” which I am always weary of, so I went with safe choices. Bœuf bourguignon and crème brûlée both delicious and I felt fine after. They have a very sweet kitty who will come say hi to you. Overall I would recommend, but I would stick to naturally GF items or things that have been confirmed GF by other reviewers.
Amazing ambiance, delicious dinner, and staff that seemed to know about accommodating celiac/people with gluten allergies. But, after living in Paris for almost half a year, gluten somehow finally got me and I spent all night sick :( Between the vegetable soup, salmon, and crème brûlée (all of which they assured me were gluten free), something was definitely gluten-y… A bummer as I really loved the place!
Good French food and felt safe. Staff is not the friendliest but they said separate frier and the duck confit was wonderful. They have a cat that roams the restaurant and sits next to you
10/10 - Best value for money and such a lovely venue! We even had a cat come and sit with us during our meal which felt true to the Paris spirit.
Great choice of food at very good prices. Staff confident about gf, and easily adapt any course to suit. Nice surroundings and atmosphere.
Great food. Many gf options lovely atmosphere with a beautiful cat staff very helpful and welcoming!
Nothing marked GF on the menu so we had to ask. Our waiter was a little cranky and not very helpful. The prices and selection on the prix fixe menu were great. I had the pork spare rib which was meaty like a chop, and the crème brûlée, of course. The French onion soup was good even without the bread.
Loved the dinner here and didn’t have any tummy trouble!
***great prices too (starter, main, and desert €23***
I ordered the French onion soup with no bread and cheese on the side, the duck, and Creme brûlée!
My husband also got the beef bourguignon.
I believe the owner said all the main dishes are gluten free and all except two desserts are gluten free.
We really enjoyed it here!
Place is great. It’s in the heart of everything and they are very helpful when it comes to options. We had charcuterie(no bread), steak frites and creme brulee. It was amazing.
Great dinner! Very knowledgeable. Had escargot, duck confit and chocolate mouse. Absolutely delicious.
A fantastic French food experience. The staff were lovely and patient, explaining that I could select what I would like, and they’d inform you if it was gluten free or not. I am a very sensitive coeliac and had the mussels, rump steak w/ chips & crème brûlée, with no symptoms at all after my meal. A must eat meal for anyone wanting tasty gluten free food.
Food was wonderful! Our waiter said he was gluten free himself and was able to make multiple things gluten free if they were not already. He was very helpful. I had the vegetable soup, grilled steak, and crème brûlée. All gluten free and no bloating or worries after eating them!
This was my favorite restaurant in paris. Almost everything can be made gluten free and for a fair price! Loved the escargot, onion soup, chicken and fries, and crème brulee.
Cute little French restaurant with delicious home cooked meals and excellent service. Great recommendations for wine and accommodated my allergies perfectly. I have allergies to gluten, dairy and soy, and am vegetarian which can be quite challenging but they were able to accommodate with an omelette, salad, and their house made fries (gluten free fryer)!!! Wonderful experience.
Kind of a hole in the wall but quite cute. The waiters were very conscious and helpful regarding gluten free options. Food was authentically French. Would go here again just for the fries (dedicated fryer as far as I can tell)!
Wow! This place is fabulous. The waiter was excellent. He new what I could have and gave great recommendations.
I ate here twice when I was in Paris in May. The food, service and ambiance was terrific! They truly understood gluten-free for someone who has celiac!
Great place for French food, a bit small ani tucked out of the way. They are helpful and friendly. I would have like some GF bread with the snails, that would have made it perfect!
My daughter is gluten free and a picky eater so as you know it’s hard to find restaurants that are good with both non and gluten menus. We have been in Paris for 5 days now and have eaten at numerous places shown on the GF site but this restaurant is by far the best authentic French food we have had and the prices are very reasonable seeing it is off the tourist path. They were very cautious about making sure my daughter selected and received the right items. If your over this way or not highly recommend.
Amazing place. Am Coeliac and kiwi and had great service, everyone spoke English and the service was outstanding. The waiter both times was excellent’ Went back 2 nights later and Had their set menu and both times brilliant . Alice was a special treat 😊
No gluten free menu; however, staff was very accommodating. I had beef burgundy which was very good. My daughter had duck, which was not as good, but she was able to have fries since they only fry potatoes in the oil. On a cute street on Boulevard St Germain
Although they don't have a gluten free menu, the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Food was great.
