I have had "Mexican" food all over the NW and never had anything come close to the quality of the food these guys serve. This is a family run business and it shows. The beans are scratch made! The menu is mostly gluten free friendly and what isn't, they will adjust to make it so for your. The server we had was very friendly and offered us a sample of the mole sauce when I was unsure if I wanted to try it. I was a mole virgin and worried all I would taste is chocolate, knowing it was in there. I am so happy I decided to take him up on his offer to sample it. I'm probably doing the sauce a disservice, but the only way I can think to describe it is Mexican barbecue infused flavor. There's the smoky spice, which I love in good Mexican, married to the sweet and bitter, yet subtle bite from the chocolate. I had that over the pork enchiladas and it was so good! The rice was more American Mexican rice, but the enchiladas were so good, and the scratch made black beans were so good, and the fresh, soft, corn tortillas were so good, I didn't care about the rice. I don't go out for Mexican for rice anyway. We received our food shortly after ordering, so we didn't wait long. We only ordered water as we had plans to pick up ice cream for the family that evening and didn't want the extra sugar. Next time . . . and there will be a next time . . . I plan on trying one of their many margaritas. For those who've never been, there is a very small parking lot, shared with their neighboring businesses, just past south of the restaurant, on the same side of the street. In case I didn't make it clear, this is mucho bueno, scratch made, love-infused food with excellent service. Go, eat, enjoy!
