Review of La Conquistadora

I would not recommend eating here for celiacs or sensitive non-celiacs, as they do not have a gluten-free menu nor separate kitchen space. The owners were as helpful as they could be about figuring out what to order, but it’s a very busy place. There were only 2 or 3 dishes on the menu that definitely had gluten, but they said from the get-go that they couldn’t guarantee it would be safe. I was there late in the evening on a road trip and really wanted hot food, and everywhere else in town on find me GF was very expensive. I never take chances like that, and felt like I shouldn’t have done it, but I did not get sick. The food was tasty, but I wouldn’t go back because I am so sensitive to cc.
