Dedicated gluten free and vegan. We had a dairy free latte and a range of pastries, sandwiches and cakes. It was a safe place for brunch, free of cross contamination or damnation.
As other reviewers have noted it is not the place for a sweet treat. It is definitely on the hair shirt end of the spectrum of gluten free with the very name The Conscious Worker denoting the piety that some bring to dietary.
Don’t get me wrong we had some nice pastries from here and the coffee was good in a dairy free kind of way. But we didn’t finish everything we had bought because we had forgotten to bring my horse and there is only so much roughage one can take when really craving a Krispy Kreme.
It is busy and clearly popular and the staff are sweet in a slightly nervous way. So if I was nearby I would return. Maybe it’s just case of finding the things from their extensive offering that suit the moment.
