We waited about ten minutes to get a table. Service was brisk. I loved my crêpe with ham and Emmentaler. At first I was worried the salad might have soy sauce in the dressing, but I think I was wrong. I’m dreaming about that salad dressing now! Everything I saw around me at other tables looked amazing. No reaction. Plenty of GF options.
We had a fantastic brunch experience here. The gluten free galette was delicious and you could get savory or sweet. They also have gluten free waffles.
I stopped by today to see if there were any take away treats that I could have! What a pleasant surprise! Carrot cake to die for - heavy and moist and a delicious chocolate brownie which melted in my mouth. Such a pleasant staff who was happy that I was so happy!
I went back the next day and had a savory galette and hot chocolate!
Safe and yummy!
I am pretty confident I had a contamination here, although I will say that it might be partially my fault. I did explain that I had a “gluten allergy” and they responded with “okay” but I should have checked more thoroughly about keeping everything separate. I ordered the smoked salmon galette and it was delicious! But about 24 hours later, I had severe symptoms and feel pretty confident they were from here as it was the only place I ate that was not dedicated GF. I see other people who were okay, so would recommend if you have celiac as severe as mine that you double check more clearly with the servers while ordering.
We went here because the reviews I read said people had enjoyed GF crepes, but TO BE CLEAR, they are only the savory ones, NOT the sweet.
If you want the Nutella banana factor, as I did, you'll have to settle for a waffle. Which was still delish, but not the crepe I was hoping for.
Oh, and steer WAY clear if the ice chai, it was terrible.
Not sure why so many celiac people are loving the crepes. The gf waffles are the ONLY thing actually gluten free because they are made on separate equipment. All the crepes are cross contaminated because they are made on the SAME hot plate as the gluten crepes. So this is NOT safe for celiac. I spoke with an employee to confirm this (he spoke perfect English). If this doesn’t bother you, they’re also lactose free.
This place was delicious and amazing! I got a waffle and it was so delicious!
Absolutely delicious. The menu has more gluten-free options then gluten containing options. It didn’t taste gluten free, service was great and they had a variety of options. The only thing that wasn’t gluten free was croissants and their sweet crepes. They also had a variety of hot drinks. Definitely recommend if you want gluten free breakfast.
Good variety of gluten free options including waffles, milkshakes and ice creams. Service very good too.
I would not go to this place if you have a severe reaction to gluten. They do not cook the galettes on a dedicated grill surface. I did not feel confident that they understood my request for a gluten free waffle cooked on a dedicated waffle iron. I chose not to eat here because I have severe reactions.
Had a great brunch at la crème de Paris. I was so surprised to see that there were a ton of GF options and that they were labeled on the menu. They offer gf waffles (both savory and sweet), gf buckwheat galettes, and multiple gf dessert choices. I had a waffle with chicken, mushrooms, and lemon chive cream and a nice smoothie. It was great! Such a beautiful cafe in a great location as well.
