Went today for the first time and will definitely be back. Parking was a little atrocious (had to park about 2 blocks away and there was a 35 minute wait) but the food was delicious and we’ll definitely be back!
This gorgeous little spot is a gem. It’s quaint and bustling, community oriented. The galettes are 100% buckwheat and delicious. There are a variety of fillings; most do include dairy. There is also an adjacent bakery that offered a gluten free dessert that I did not yet try but it looked divine.
I find this place to be a bit hit or miss. As a person with celiac, sometimes I am fine and other times I have a reaction. The most recent time I was in I confirmed with three staff members that I had been served the gluten-free gallette before eating it. I still got a reaction. I am not sure if all their staff is consistently trained on gluten-free offerings and preparation . I had to correct the wait person who told us something was gluten-free when it actually had bechamel sauce, which is not gluten-free. All this said, MOST times I eat here I am fine.
