Amazing GF Italian food. Their GF menu is extensive and the servers seem very knowledgeable. The food is delicious.

We had the BEST server!!!
However she did say the pizza might be risky for celiac.
They do however have separate frialators for any fried food and the croquettes were AMAZING.
Pasta is cooked safely and separately. My pasta meal wasn’t that great sadly. The chicken was tough and an icky cut.
Overall service was an A+++, safety an A (wish the pizza I felt more confident about to try), the croquettes were an A, but rest of the food was meh.
Will definitely return though.

Great gluten free pizza. The thin crust sometimes comes out a little crispy, but the toppings are great.

After hours of antiquing, we needed to refuel. La Cucina has an extensive gluten free menu. It is often hard to find a true Italian restaurant that can do authentic recipes gluten free but they did not disappoint. My daughter and I split the Chicken manicotti Florentine and my husband got the Crostacie. The crab, lobster and shrimp in his dish were divine. No gluten free garlic bread to mop up our sauce but we didn’t feel deprived. Friendly waitress and great food. When we get back this way we will eat here again!

We had a great experience here. Two of our kids are gluten-free and they had great options to choose from. Staff was very friendly and food was great.

I stumbled upon this restaurant on a work trip using this app. The previous three days of the trip were quite disappointing, food wise, with tragic salads for lunch and dinners with limited gluten free options. I had a protein bar for dinner the first night. I was excited to find La Cucina because it at least had more than a couple reviews but my expectations were fairly low. However, I could not have been happier with my experience. I ordered the coconut shrimp and Chicken Croquettes With Creamy Pesto Sauce - the shrimp was ok but the pesto sauce was fantastic. I ordered the Crostacie pasta for my entree and I swear it’s the best past dish I’ve ever had, even before my celiac diagnosis. It was SPECTACULAR. The waitress (Rosanna) was wonderful and made me feel special - not at all like an annoyance like I often feel asking all the normal questions. If you are anywhere near this restaurant, run - don’t walk - to eat there!!

Service was terrible, it took over 15 minutes for the server to bring us water, I started thinking that he had to dig the well. I ordered "shef special" it said salmon with spinach and tomatoes. I asked him what else does it come with, he said just spinach and tomatoes, didn't want any pasta, so I said yes to this dish, price was not listed on the menu. I said I was GF and no dairy.
Next the cook came out and said it comes with a crabcake on the top and it's not GF, so I asked not to top my salmon with it. Another 35 minutes passes and he brings out my dinner. It's salmon on top of handful of cooked spinach with some crushed tomatoes and pasta. I didn't want to eat pasta, so I sent the dish back. I asked for a salad instead, and said I will keep the fish. He brought out a tiny plate of salad with an old plate that had fish, spinach and pasta was gone. After I was almost done with my "salad" and fish server brought out another plate of salad, normal size this time, to which I said toast it was too late. He took it back.
When I asked for a check I saw that he charged me full price of $30 for the dish I didn't eat. I feel like it was his fault that he didn't tell me what was in the dish when I asked him a question, and besides if i knew that dish was $30 i would have never ordered it.
I asked him to talk to the manager, after he came back he said there is nothing he can do and I have to sit there till I pay.
I felt insulted, and unjust. I should not be paying for this mistakes. I even told him that I will pay $12 for the fish, that was the price on the menu for the side of fish with a salad.
I put down $30, my friend's meal was $16 and we left.
Never coming back again. Bad service, and salmon was bland.

The most embarrassing, disgusting, and shocking dining/food experience of my life (pre and post Celiac diagnosis). I had researched this restaurant on the app before we arrived for our stay in Havre de Grace and was excited to have such a promising option. I was even more encouraged to see a sign in the establishments window that said “best gluten free meal in town”… We went for my Birthday, made reservations (which seemed to confuse them). I asked our waitress about their gluten free menu and their preparation and I felt safe ordering based on her responses. The dishes were dirty and we had to ask for more. Our appetizer Mozzarella Caprese was bland but ok. They were out of the pasta needed to make the manicotti item I wanted, they offered to adapt it by using some croquettes that are on their app menu. That’s not what I wanted but struggled to find another item I wanted on the menu so I agreed. My boyfriend ordered the gf baked ziti. His meal came out and we both sampled it but he didn’t want to eat without me. 15 minutes later my food came. It looked so unappetizing. The shrimp was cold, the croquettes steaming but visually appeared overcooked. The baked ziti was bland and greasy. We were extremely disappointed in the food and the timing of our meals and asked for the check without eating. $72 for what we ordered we were in SHOCK! (No prices on the menu) Almost $40 for the menu item they didn’t even have to make as ordered. If the food had been stellar or the place fancy the price wouldn’t have bothered me but this is a glorified mom and pop pizza parlor and when I likened the food to Fazolis my bf said not to insult Fazolis. On my birthday and dressed up we then drove 30 minutes to the next town to go to Red Robin. Save your money and your dignity and skip this place unless you are possibly looking for pizza (of which I have no knowledge of the safety or taste).

Awesome place! Read previous reviews and so glad I came for dinner! They DO have a separate GF menu. My waitress was so excited when I said I had celiac and promised me I was in for a delicious meal. HAPPILY Accommodated me when I asked for a substitution. Food was delicious, but kindness and great attitude made it all even better.

My son has Celiac, and he absolutely loved their gluten free pizza. And our server was very nice, but she was new and had no idea what Celiac even was. She advised me to speak with the manager behind the counter, who was, to put it nicely, less than pleasant. I explained that my son had Celiac and that his food needed to be prepared separately and he simply stared at me like I had three heads. So I started to explain why there couldn’t be any cross contamination and he finally stated sharply that he knew what Celiac was and how to prepare the food. So - not the nicest employees, but the food was good and my son seems fine and that’s the most important thing.

Even though the restaurant was 100% full on a Mother's Day night, they still were able to make sure everything that came to our table (Pizza, Pasta and meatballs, Surf & Turf) was gluten free and safe for our celiac family!

Antonella greets us like family. They have gluten free lasagna and the food is delicious.

Delicious food and decent service. Hubby is celiac and has never gotten sick eating here. VERY expensive for the GF items though - there's a reason the prices aren't listed on the GF menu, if you get my drift. Would recommend otherwise, but they lost a star for the $20-something appetizers and $30+ entrees (it's a nice enough place, but not that kind of high-end).

Loved this restaurant before my daughter was diagnosed. We came back when we heard they have a gluten free menu. The menu has TONS of options. Pizza, calamari, pasta, and even a peanut butter bomb cake for dessert. They have dedicated friers and are careful with preparation.

Awesome GF menu. Lots of pasta choices such as manicotti, lasagna...white pizza is delisciousness. Coconut shrimp in dedicated fryer. Peanut butter bomb cake for dessert. Great choice!
