La Jalisciense is a Mexican-Immigrant owned market and restaurant. They have amazing $10 taco specials, and I have never had issues eating here. Just communicate your needs.
The bar is also very great. I love the margaritas, and the fresh-made lemonade is incredible. Always have to get a glass!
