Partner (symptomatic celiac) had the dolmas, avgolemono soup, and chocolate mousse without any reaction. GF items are clearly marked on menu. Tasty food, no reactions, good times.

Went to visit as I used to love this place pre celiac They told me it wasn’t safe for people with celiac so I watched everyone eat :(
Eat here on occasion. The food is nothing special, but it is consistent. They have a well marked menu and the staff is also knowledgeable. I’ve never gotten sick.

This place is good! Didn’t inquire about a gluten free menu as the main menu was well marked. We enjoyed a falafel salad and the grilled veggie skewer plate. We ordered from the lunch menu which meant slightly smaller portions than dinner but we had more than enough food. The potato salad was really good. Left happy and full. Didn’t get sick. When I asked the young server to tell the kitchen I have celiac he was happy to pass the message along.

One of my favorite restaurants in the entire Bay Area. Food is absolutely amazing and I don’t get sick! I always get the chicken pomegranate.

I come here at least once a week and have never had any issues. All items are marked on the menu. Hummus can be gotten with veggies instead of pita. Very conscious of cross contamination!

The kebabs and pilaf are gluten free! They also have many appetizers available: the hummus plate is a winner. Just make sure to tell the server you have a gluten allergy, they have a separate menu. I’ve never had a bad meal here, the flavors are delicious.

I come here for the pomegranate chicken whenever I'm in Berkeley. Try the Mexican chocolate frozen drink around the corner afterwards.
Delicious, large amounts of food, even the lunch plates! Separate GF menu with a lot to select from. Friendly staff and funky ambiance. Highly recommend!

I get the vegan Salad Mediterenee (i think kt’s called) so they add no cheese... i also swap put the tabuleh for extra hummus or potato salad. And i get extra veggies for dipping- instead of bread. Occasionally i get to pomegranate chicken pieces a la cart with this. I loveee these salad flavors and recommend it.

Delicious! Chicken kabob plate
Easily one of the better Mediterranean restaurants in Berkeley and environs; I know what I speak of, coming from a country where a good percentage of the population hail from countries around the Mediterranean.
I had a very mild reaction after eating here, so I wouldn't whole-heartedly embrace it (and definitely repeat my urgent instructions to the -- very nice -- waiter). But the food was tasty, and the portions well-sized.
I always get the gf soup, chicken pomegranate' and they take care of me, also they have a gf menu which is helpful, they have a fruit plate which is fruit and cheese and yummy, hummus is really good and the food so tasty.
Nice, cute, fairly priced. I love the pom chicken!
