La Napoletana

Glutenfree pizza was homemade style but without possibility to exchange ingredients. Staff was kind but not too much hospital.

This was recommended by the staff at my hotel, Hotel Taodomus. They knew that La Napoletana has gluten free pizza if one calls 24 hours ahead. They called for me and found out that GF dough was ready for that evening. There were about 20 pizza choices, but I chose simply and had a Margherita Pizza that was outstanding! The dough was clearly homemade. And the pizza came out very quickly, but that could be because we got there on the early side of dinner time (7pm). My sister loved her (regular crust) Pizza Allan Norma too. The pizzeria is right off the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Taormina. I wish I had been able to try the Panna Cotta or lemon sorbet they offer for dessert, but I couldn't even finish that wonderful pizza.
