Amazing! Beautiful view AND they were very knowledgeable and careful with the fact I had celiac disease. They even had separately wrapped tostaditos de maiz Blanco horneados with a mango Pico just for those with celiac disease. The coconut shrimp was heavenly and the vegan risotto was incredibly flavorful, both of which I hadn't had in years. It was our 24th wedding anniversary, so instead of giving us a surprise cake like they normally do, they gave us champagne with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate and raspberry sauce on a plate. This place is a go-to must!

I ate here twice and got dessert to go. I was able to explain to the waiter about my allergies and provide him with a gluten free travel card that explains celiac disease. He went and showed the card to the kitchen and came back to tell me they let him know that I was safe to eat anything labeled GF. I had the coconut shrimp, grilled fish, and Shinto aguachiles. For the aguachiles, they served me packaged GF tortilla chips to eat with, which was a nice little surprise. I did ask for all my meals to be served in a to go container. I also had a Nima sensor to test the items and they came out all gluten free. Staff was very attentive and reassuring. Highly recommend.

Le serveur était attentionné et a mentionné en cuisine que j'ai la maladie coeliaque. Beaucoup de choix identifiés sans gluten au menu, la nourriture est délicieuse et l'endroit est magnifique!

Incredible food. I brought a celiac card that explained cross contamination needs in Spanish. The coconut shrimp is the best I’ve ever had. I felt safe eating here and they understood my needs. The atmosphere is beautiful as well.

Multiple gluten free options listed clearly on the menu. Asked waiter what we're options and waiter said basically anything since it's made from scratch.
Had the Coconut Shrimp appetizer and Zarandeado style fish of the day (sea bass local). No issues.

I loved it!! I had the chicken fajitas and they’re very aware of gluten and dairy allergies. Fajitas come with a small bit of refried beans and guacamole :) so many items are marked gluten free on the lunch menu!

The hostess and server were knowledgeable. Our group of 3 celiacs (2 adults, 1 child) had the organic chicken, coconut shrimp, tortilla soup and short ribs. Nobody got glutened. Server came back to the table to confirm a few ingredients. Service was wonderful and sunset was beautiful.

We had a wonderful experience at La Palapa. I don’t eat out much as I am a sensitive celiac, but I felt comfortable here and had no issues after eating.
****update**** We have eaten at La Palapa on several occasions and I have never had an issues feeling safe.
We even chose La Palapa for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner.

Most of the food they offer is gluten free and they can adapt your plate to any other food allergies you may have. They also knew what celiac disease was so I was impressed by that. The view is great, right on the beach. Honestly it was an awesome dinner experience and excellent gluten free food.

Delicious ,GF listed on menu, and on the beach! Was given flour tortillas for one dish but luckily I realised and I asked them to swap for corn and it was no problem. Try the coconut shrimp!

We've been going to La Palapa for 15 years. high quality food, excellent service, and very accommodating. Indoor and outdoor seating. Celiac-friendly. Never gotten sick and I am extremely sensitive. The creme brulette is out of this world.
This place is awesome and right on the beach. Husband is celiac and didn't get sick. It states gluten free right on the menu. Highly recommend!!!!!

While the chips are not gluten-free (shares fryer), the waiter was very accommodating and brought out soft corn tortillas so I could enjoy the salsa and guacamole. Like many Mexican restaurants, much of the food is GF-friendly. I had delicious tacos and others in my party (not GF/celiac) also loved their meals. Great spot.
