La Pappardella

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Valencia and dining at this wonderful restaurant. I was delighted to discover that they offer a separate menu for Gluten-Free options, and the staff were incredibly attentive, taking great care to address any dietary concerns. It's worth noting that the restaurant boasts two kitchens, ensuring efficiency and quality in their service.

During my two visits (yes I went twice ☺) I had the pleasure of being served by two different waitresses, both of whom displayed the same level of attentiveness and professionalism, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to excellent service.

Oh, and the food was absolutely divine! Authentic Italian cuisine that left me thoroughly impressed. A big thumbs up to La Pappardella! ❤

Wonderful Italian restaurant with a dedicated allergen menu. Staff was very knowledgeable and understanding about gluten allergy and confirmed with me twice my dish was gluten free upon receiving it. I highly recommend the truffle mushroom penne!

Excellent food. We walked up right at opening time and got a table, but the dining room quickly filled. It’s obviously very popular, I’d recommend making a reservation.

Ok so they have a gf menu but as someone who doesn't eat pork, I was a bit limited. I ordered pesto but it was not what I thought, it was ok and filling but was creamy tomato-based sauce. I also ordered the tiramisu but it was nice like a chocolate cake with mouse in the middle. It's not bad just wanted to share my experience.

Had a separate gluten free menu, gluten free food looked just as good as the standard menu. Felt a little bit more like a chain restaurant but staff were lovely and so was the atmosphere. Definitely would recommend food was pretty big portion wise and fairly priced.

My son became sick after eating the lasagna. The staff was not friendly. Within minutes they serve your diner, you feel like a number, don’t eat here.

I had an awful experience at this place. I told the waiter that I'm celiac when she came to the table. She gave me the GF menu and I chose a burger. When I requested the burger I mentioned again that I wanted the GF one. When I got the burger it looked too good to be true but she didn't give me time to ask if it was GF. I had a bite and thought it was really too good to be true. So I asked her and she said it was GF so I relaxed and just ate the burger. A few minutes later she came back to tell me it wasn't GF after all 😱 I had to puke the whole thing and it ruined my evening. They were very sorry, apologized a lot and didn't charge me for the food. Still this totally ruined the start of my holiday and I wouldn't recommend a place where this happens even after so many checks with the waiter. Therefore, if you are celiac stay away.

Visited on 12/04/22. They have a full gluten-free menu via QR scan code. I had a GF bread with cheese and bacon dip for starters and a GF lasagna and GF chocolate brownie the food was delicious staff are very knowledgeable and each time they gave me the food they said sin gluten so I knew it was okay and it was different from the rest of the group was such a treat

I had an out of body experience. My toes tingle from the post dinner food-gasm. Is this heaven? Such a friendly staff. My bf and I got the cream pastas. English gluten free menu. I’m coming back. Gluten free food can be BETTER than regular food. I’m a believer.

This place was amazing. Our group of 11 wandered around for a long period of time searching for a place that had gluten-free options. We were famished, exhausted and grumpy when we arrived here. The staff was super accommodating to seat all of us, even though the restaurant was busy. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu with a wide range of choices. I ordered pasta with mushrooms and pistachios. The dish was fantastic. Everyone else loved their food, as well.

I ate here two times over the course of two days. The restaurant staff has special training in food preparation for celiac clients. The restaurant has a certification for the same. They have a gluten free menu in Spanish and English. Portions are very generous and they are willing to accommodate any other dietary restrictions you may have. Flavor, texture and presentation was all very good.

Had a glutenfree lasagne, very tasty! The service on the other hand was a bit disappointing, while my brother was eating his starter his main course already arrived and the waiter still put the plate next to him and while I was eating my lasagna the waiter was already getting the dishes above my head from my family. As a celiac that is quite dangerous in case he dropped some food in my lasagna..

They have quite a few choices. The gf lasagna was awesome and a good price!
