This is an amazing tiny bakery. Get here early for best selection. The cannoli was the best we had in Rome. The fried tubes are in the case and she hand fills them when you order so you know you have a fresh crunchy roll. We also got a focaccia that was very tasty. My recommendation is grab your pastry here and walk a few mins further to Faro coffee shop for perhaps the best cup of coffee in Rome. Get a pour over coffee you won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely amazing place, like wow!! The dairy free options were at least 60% on the gf options which made it! Bought so much! Pizza, biscuits, croissants Nutella and pistachio, my partner got the cannelloni (none df)! They also had panatone to try which was out of this world! Recommend the cafe round the corner! I don’t care there was no where to sit, I was just amazed at being able to have things I’ve not had in many years!!! If in Rome go!!
What in incredible little gem! The woman running the shop is lovely. She has a great variety of both sweet and savoury items. The croissants are incredible! The best I’ve ever had, better than the GF ones I’ve had in France. I highly recommend getting a croissant filled with cream. Other notable goodies were the rice balls, and ugly cookies (that’s what she called them). A must visit if you’re in Rome.
AMAZING gluten-free pastries and the nicest service you can imagine! We tried the brioche with custard, (literally perfect) maritozzi, two types of cannoli, and croissants with cream - all of which were outstanding! Loved every bite and would highly recommend to anyone traveling through Rome!
If you’re in Rome, this bakery is an absolute must-visit! Out of all the amazing gluten-free options I tried in Italy, nothing compared to this place. I’ll be dreaming about their croissants and baked goods for years. The owner is so lovely and truly passionate about sharing her incredible creations. Don’t miss out!
This place is fabulous! The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. She looked proud to be serving the delicious bakes. We tried a few bits and they were all absolutely delicious. My non-GF boyfriend loved it all too, he said the filled cornettos (italian version of croissant) were as close to the real thing he’s tried out of the gf goodies he eats with me.
I bought a sandwich (butter, cheese and salami) and some pastries. The sandwich was incredibly delicious. I regret not buying a whole loaf of their bread! The pastries were also veeeery tasty. Sadly you can't sit there and have a coffee, but the lady said that it's possible to bring whatever you've bought to a Café around the corner. They'll let you sit there and you can buy coffee there.
One of the best bakeries for gluten free!! Super cute place and very lovely staff! The cannolis are to die for!! Loved the aranchini balls as well!! Keep an eye out for it because it’s hard to find, last door before you turn the corner and there are steps down into the store!
was staying 50 meters up the road so had to give it a shot and so glad I did!
We got the pistachio cornettò and an apricot brioche and they were unreal! So flakey and crunchy and just delicious and the best one I’ve had since I got here.
We also got a potato pizza focaccia and omg was so yummy!!
Everything was also lactose free which was awesome and the lady was lovely and very helpful
Would definitely recommend
We enjoyed our filled cornetto, and there were so many yummy pastries, cookies, and pies I wish we could’ve eaten. They also have savory options too, which would be great for a quick lunch. Just ask them to heat it up for you!
It’s very tiny though and no seating, so be prepared to grab and go.
OMG!!! This place is the best! Everything is gluten free. I’ve never had anything better than this. There are so many options to choose from. I loved everything that had chocolate on them. The bread that I liked the most were the croissants filled with Nutella and the normal donuts but to get them you have to get there early (as soon as the place opens) because they are so popular. I wish I could live in Rome and go here everyday. It’s definitely a MUST VISIT!!! You’ll have the best bread/cookies ever!!!
We were excited to find a dedicated gluten free bakery just minutes from where we are staying while visiting Rome. This afternoon I had the gluten free cannoli and it was fantastic! My family also ordered croissants and a red velvet cupcake. We will definitely visit the bakery again before we leave so we can try the donuts, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries that are available in the morning. The owner and head baker was so sweet and helpful. She gave suggestions for great dinner places nearby to try fresh made gluten free pasta and pizzas.
Some of the more rated gluten free bakeries were closed so we stopped by this one and it did not disappoint! There were no cream filled croissants/cornetti, but the plain ones were to die for!! Absolutely amazing. Flakes, buttery, airy. Nothing like this exists in the US.
