I can't speak to cross-contact, but they do have a number of good quality gluten free options. I had a gluten free pasta dish, which was delicious. The service was very attentive, and the restaurant is under new management, so I think it would be worth asking about their safety measures. (I'm only mildly gluten sensitive, so I can usually get away with taking "gluten free" on the menu at face value.)
