Fairly disappointing experience after reading such positive previous reviews. Normally I’m not one to nitpick on service, but this was by far the worst service we have had since we arrived in Italy a week ago. While the GF pasta itself was great for GF and they had several GF options available, I ordered the GF pasta with salmon and was given a shrimp and cream sauce pasta instead. When they brought my plate I kindly said I had actually ordered the salmon and our waitress said no you didn’t and showed me on the electronic tab that the button selected was for shrimp. Luckily I like shrimp and didn’t mind but was somewhat shocked to be told what I ordered (when in fact I didn’t and I even pointed at the salmon on the menu in case of a language barrier to be clear). Frankly I felt a little distrustful of my pasta being GF after this experience, so will see if I get sick later. Looking around at tables with other wait staff, I think our experience was mostly very poor service by our waitress and not the restaurant itself but personally wouldn’t go back if dining here again, especially since we didn’t even get napkins (or non GF complimentary bread for my husband despite asking for them). There are definitely better options offering GF in Monterosso with much better service! (Da Eraldo, L’Ancora etc)

When we went to make a reservation, we told them I have Celiac and they didn't even hesitate. The person who took our reservation told me that there was plenty for me to eat. When we got there later that night, they had gluten free bruschetta and gluten free bread as a starter and I ordered gluten free pesto pasta for my entree. Everything was amazing!

So nice, we ate there twice! GF items were not marked, but the server was knowledgeable. When I told her celiac, she replied that I am in the right place, and and she took good care of me both times. It seems like most things could be made GF, except there was only 1 dessert option. I had pesto pasta one night and steak the other. Got the capresse appetizer both nights. There was GF bread on the 2nd night. She told me that they sometimes have it, and other times do not. Overall, I definitely recommend eating here.

Extremely knowledgeable waitress. GF pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was divine (tomatoes, truffle cream, capers, olives) with a light delicate flavor. I got GF bread with mine - 2nd time after a week plus in Italy to get bread so I could sop up all that amazing sauce.

Staff is very friendly and celiac aware and almost the whole whole menu can be made/adapted to be GF. Awesome variety of GF pasta shapes and sauces. Delicious grilled fish and seafood appetizers. Great wine. They even made GF bruschetta for me! Everything was great!!
