Crêperie La Tourelle

Picked up this recommendation from the app. They had a Sans Gluten section for Gallettes but it wasn't clear if the fillings were all San Gluten too. They appeared to be cooking gallettes and gluten containing crepes in the same close vicinity and were using their hands to pick all filling ingredients out off rows of containers so plenty of scope for cross contamination. I ordered a gallette with some trepidation and ate it and was not glutened. It was a beautiful little restaurant in a beautiful part of town.

Although the product and variety of choice are good, I found myself with an inflammed stomach some hours after eating the GF galettes.

Well first of all Troyes is an amazing place and the restaurant is located in the heart of this stunning town.

The welcome was very nice and we ordered drinks first as we surveyed the menu. Linda opted for the ham, mushroom & cheese galette from the gluten free list & I got the salmon one with a side of ecrasé pomme de terre.

Food came out quickly and we were well impressed!
