Lahaina Chicken Company

My husband and I had a long lay-over in Honolulu before heading home to Detroit, so we decided to scout out GF and allergy-friendly food. The California Pizza Kitchen in the food court was not GF friendly.

We read a review on Trip Advisor that encouraged us to check Lahaina Chicken Company. A woman at the counter checked with someone in the back who said the meats were safe and so was the salad and white rice. Evidently they missed something because I had an allergic reaction and felt sick. Airports are so frustrating! Sometimes, all I have are rice cakes and larabars I can eat when I really need a meal.

Low rating because I had to explain. They were nice enough to grab the cook. Salad and sliced roast beef. Airport food is always a gamble so eat at your own risk and ask questions.
