The food was amazing! My son and husband who are extremely sensitive were both fine after eating here. Everyone is so friendly too, and you can tell they take allergies seriously. It is cash only. We had to run to an atm and go back.

Fantastic experience! Such a treat to get gluten free fish and fries! The only minor bummer was that they were out of GF hush puppies the day we went. We live out of state, but have family in the area, so hopefully it won't be too long until we're back. Highly recommended!

Once we found this seafood restaurant we were “hooked!” I have celiac but my husband doesn’t. We have eaten there too many times to count. It is amazing to be able to get fried fish and hush puppies!! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious!

Finally ate here and while the people were super nice and knowledgeable about GF options, I thought my fried shrimp and flounder where just OK. The hush puppies on the other hand were amazing...I could have eaten an entire basket. I would give it 3.5 stars.

The food was great and so many things can be made gluten free! I got fried flounder and shrimp. The hushpuppies were also gluten free and were very good! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is gluten free and likes fried seafood. So rare to find gluten free fried seafood anywhere.

Rustic would describe it. Don't expect fine China and candle light. Food is served on paper plates and is cash only. What you do get are staff that know gluten and serve you a great seafood, fish, oysters, and chicken with all the fixens from hush puppies to slaw.

I've had celiac for 10 plus years and this was the best fried food I've had. Finally got to try fried pickles, and they were awesome. Oh and the hushpuppies omg so good. Not the healthiest place to eat but a once in a while treat it is second to none.

The restaurant was very good and very gluten free friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Basically everything on the menu is fried (because everything was southern) but you can order broiled fish so if you are looking for healthy it may not be the best place. I would say 97% of their menu (including all the fried stuff) was gluten free including gluten free hush puppies (they were extremely DELICIOUS.) Just be warned, the restaurant is really off the beaten path and looks like an old house from the outside. It's really a "hole in the wall" or a "diamond in the rough" kind of place so don't be alarmed. Also keep in mind that you must pay in cash! Everything was delicious and it was a nice experience. I highly recommend it.

The owner has a family member with celiac disease so the staff is very knowledgeable. In addition to GF fried fish & seafood, they have GF chicken tenders, GF hush puppies, and GF french fries. The hush puppies are especially delicious.

GF Hush Puppies? Yes, and absolutely wonderful. Staff could not have been kinder or more efficient. I am an extremely sensitive celiac person and did not have any issues after enjoying this yummy food. Cash only.

I thought I would never eat hush puppies again after being diagnosed with celiac disease. This place is in the middle of nowhere but is so worth the drive! It's an old, family style restaurant. I ate battered flounder, hush puppies (which were the best I have ever had!!) and French fries. They have a dedicate fryer and the batter is corn based. And the sweet tea was to die for. So glad I found this place! Go check it out!
