Review

New sandwich shop in Grand Haven. I am sensitive celiac and had heard about this new place from another member of Greater Grand Rapids Gluten free FB group. The owner of Lakeside Eats was the manager at Lucy’s Deli in GH where I ate lunch numerous times without issues. Former manager at Lucy’s opened her own shop this spring. Stopped here today for first time. Walk up and order sandwich shop. Menu posted on large board. GF not mentioned on the menu so I asked the person taking my order and she said they have GF bread and all staff has been trained in allergy orders. She put allergy on my order and personally went back to to the prep and told them. Had toasted turkey sandwich on GF bread and pickle. Sandwich was delicious and I had no reaction. Lots of indoor seating. Steady line of customers. Find address and menu on FB.
