Review of Lala's Mexican Cafe

The manager was very friendly about assuring no cross contamination for gluten along with my other allergens. I felt comfortable while eating there because of her reassurance, however it wasn’t worth the price. Gluten free is always more expensive, but our bill as a whole was just ridiculous considering it was all naturally gf. The chips tasted like Tostitos right out of the bag and the portions were pretty small. They were very adamant about everything being organic but it seemed like it wasn’t fresh or good quality but rather prepackaged organic items. On top of it all, I left feeling a bit sick which may or may not be from cross contamination, it is hard to tell. I’m visiting from out of town and have had plenty of good experiences elsewhere and I would suggest searching out better quality and better prices because this city has a lot better places to offer.
