Items are marked as gluten free even though they are cooked in cross contaminated oil. The menu is dangerously marked and unreliable.

Staff are largely uninterested gluten free food prep and allergies in general. With gluten free they will only tell you about cross contamination of you say you are coeliac, asking for gluten free is not enough.

Would not ever eat here again!

Lana in Raheen are much better, their chicken massaman curry is reliable gluten free.

Very disappointing experience here. Ordered a gluten free meal and when checking it was gluten free upon collection was told it was fried with gluten-containing food. When I asked if they could cook a fresh version I was told they couldn’t change the oil during a shift. I have eaten in various other Lana branches before and have been very happy with the precautions they have taken so Lana has become an old reliable but the same safeguards aren’t used in Castletroy unfortunately.
