Had extensive convo with waiter. They will cook in separate water and he was willing to tell chef. He also handled issue quietly and respectfully while dining w colleagues (eg came around to speak to me didn’t shout across table).
I used Nima (controversial I know) to test hamachi crudo and Cacio e Pepe - both tested safe and I had no reactions.
Excellent food. Not cheap, but the pasta prices are very fair. They do cook the GF pasta in separate water. Some really good GF dessert options too. Carbonara was excellent, very authentic and tasted great. The lime cake dessert was also very good. Staff was very knowledgeable of Celiac protocols.
High quality. Not indicated on the menu was the fact that all pastas except for a couple of items could be prepared gluten-free. The service was excellent, the food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. I had the Polpo grilled octopus appetizer, Rigatoni alla Carbonara as my main course, and the Amore Mora Lime Mousse with Blackberry Compote for dessert. A unique and truly enjoyable experience.
Fantastic with a handful of options. The very first question was does anybody have allergies at this table. That was definitely a promising start.
