We chose this restaurant based on the recommendation in Rick Steves book but clearly this place has gone downhill. One of the worst experiences I have had in my two week trip throughout France. Before ordering I explained to the waitstaff my food needed to be sans gluten. She said no problem and seemed to completely understand. We heard her talk directly with the chef about options available for me (the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant). Then they brought out the first course and the steak had been soaked in soy sauce. I asked and she looked shocked and went and asked the chef who got the bottle of sauce and appeared shocked it had wheat in it. Clearly no understanding of gluten or knowledge of ingredients in their food. We were also one of only two tables seated which is probably another sign we should have left long before. Even when we walked by later that evening the place was empty.

Are aware of risk of CC. Had to explain soya sauce though.
Three of each plate options. 2 of each were available for gluten free. Food was delicious but pricey.
Not a place for fussy eaters but delicious, fresh, French food.
