The food is delicious and they have several GF options clearly marked on the menu. They even have 3 GF desserts!

So good! Waitress was very helpful. She made sure to clarify whether it was an allergy or intolerance. I felt very safe and the food was out of this world!

So many gluten free options, I had a hard time picking! This restaurant is where you go to feel normal. The food was amazing!!! Deviled eggs, lobster tails, broccolini, mushrooms, crab cake (!!!!), it was all fabulous. And the menu was full of more things for me to try next time! Waiter was amazing in helping me!

Okay, I only made it for dessert and totally need to come back. I had a gluten free bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream. Oh my word. Run here. Don’t walk. Run!!!!
Menu is labeled with the GF options and they had a large selection to choose from. They’re best known for steaks but had other options including seafood, pork, and plenty of sides. This place is more expensive then our usual fair, but great for a special occasion. I had the wedge salad, the 7 Oz filet mignon, and a loaded baked potato. Everything tasted great! They had a large wine selection also. Atmosphere is nice and you can tell it has a great view from the outdoor dining area during warmer months. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is they charged our card twice for our meal and took a while to correct it.

Incredible food. I have celiac and a dairy allergy and could eat well. The fryer is shared, but they baked the fries. My favorite nice restaurant to eat at safely.

The staff was so friendly! There was a hostess in training and it was only her second day. As soon as I mentioned Gluten Free she already knew exactly where to locate the items on the menu. That's how much it means to them at Larkin's on the River. The owner is Gluten Free so has everything blatantly and clearly labeled. The food was fantastic! I ordered the three course experience since I have never been able to do so. I got the she crab soup, 7oz. Ribeye medallion with garlic mashed potatoes and melt in your mouth asparagus, followed by the vanilla creme brûlée. With tax the price was $50. Which is a great Gluten Free buy and experience.

Excellent meal! GF items are clearly marked. Parmesan truffle fries are in separate frier and are delicious. They also had gluten free bread (had to ask for separately). Apparently one of the owners is gluten free, so is well aware of precautions to take and what items are actually gluten free. I also had the filet mignon. All food was very tasty. And a beautiful park view eating outside on the patio. Would definitely return!
Amazing food and service. We were assured the guys in the kitchen would wear gloves and flip their station. We were even given gluten free rolls. Most of the entrees are gluten free. Great dinner, service, and a lovely view. Be sure to ask for Ed great server!

No gluten-free menu, but our waitress spoke with the chef and gave me several recommendations. Ordered shrimp & grits and it was amazing! Glad we tried this restaurant; I'll be happy to return.

This was our first visit to Larkin's. There was no separate gf menu, but the hostess said to ask the server any questions & they could cook to order. We called them many times/day for 3 days prior to our visit to try to discuss their gf options & methods, but after never getting a response we reserved our table through OpenTable & requested a server who is knowledgable in gf needs/celiac. They did not honor that request & we were given a server who had to go back to the kitchen every time we asked the simplest questions about cross-contamination or ingredients. She brought my food out on trays with gluten items from other tables & brought my soup out with bagel chips on the plate, so I had to send that back. Instead of bringing it back out right away, she visited & cleared other tables before returning my soup. My husband finished his soup by the time my replacement came. Aside from gf needs, the food was subpar. The shrimp & grits was dry, clumpy (clumps the size of large grapes!) & smothered in overwhelming melted cheese. The only redeeming quality of the entire meal was the gf she-crab soup. We do not recommend this restaurant. Go to Grill Marks instead! Not fancy but much better quality, great gf options & much better service than Larkin's!
