Our waiter was great. They heated up a new fryer just for us. It took a bit longer to get our food but well with it.

Minimal gluten-free options available. It's a nice restaurant but meals were OK and the service was very slow

The food is exceptional here! I had butternut squash soup and the roasted chicken with mashed potato and asparagus. They also brought me gluten free bread. My husband had the scallops and they were delicious. The server said about half of the menu is naturally gluten free dishes.

Very good! I had the brisket tacos with corn tortillas and added salsa. Delicious! I also had a cup of coffee with almond milk and raw sugar (they have almond, rice and soy milks). Clean, friendly staff, fast service, and Omni guests get a 15% discount on food from here. It's inside the hotel on the first floor. They also have outdoor seating on the riverwalk. Recommend!

Moving over and down to the lone star state, Las Canarias in San Antonio exudes both elegance and romance. Many of the beautifully set tables provide a gorgeous view of the famous Riverwalk. There is an a la carte dinner menu as well as a tasting menu. The latter typically doesn't allow for substitutions so gluten-free guests might prefer to choose the a la carte option. Many selections are gluten-free as prepared and many others can be modified upon request. There are usually a couple of gluten-free dessert options as well. Whether you're in the mood for filet mignon, seared sea scallops, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin or herb roasted chicken, the amazing food, and presentation of it, will make for an incredibly romantic meal. Even though the restaurant with its white tablecloths and fine china is fairly formal, Southern hospitality is more than alive and well at this gem located deep in the heart of Texas!

My wife has celiac disease and so does the chef's wife. While there is not a dedicated gf menu, most of their delicatessens are gf and if not they will accommodate. The entire staff is so courteous and aware of the importance of a gf diet. You will never find a place like this.
