Great Mexican food and drinks. Their fryer/chips are not safe. I usually bring a baggie of my own chips and ask for my own salsa, to avoid cross contamination. I get the steak tacos on corn tortillas every time, and have never had a reaction. You need to explain the allergy to your waiter, but they are very careful about it in the kitchen. I would recommend for people with celiac.

I got the chicken verde tamales. I asked the server to make sure there was no wheat flour in the dough or sauce. He assured me they were only made with corn. They were delicious and I had no reactions!

Mexican is generally a safe bet with celiac, but I love Las Fuentes for its large menu and the heavy emphasis on corn vs flour tortillas! The free chips are 100% corn and made in a dedicated fryer, and I always order the cheese enchiladas (always made with corn tortillas). While there’s no separate menu and they won’t understand if you ask about celiac, they’re knowledgeable about which entrees have corn tortillas vs flour, and I think their authenticity is why I trust it way more than those trendy Mexican restaurants that sneak flour into everything. I’ve been here at least 20 times, and I’ve never gotten sick despite being super sensitive. Bonus: the staff here is super friendly and the outdoor seating in the summers is super cute!
